Amanda Amaya Shaw 1990出生于 Covington, Louisiana. 身兼 Cajun提琴手、歌手和女演员多重身份，4岁开始学习古典小提琴，8岁便开始为人们演奏Cajun音乐，她和她的乐队the Cute Guys经常出现在新奥尔良地区，包括为the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival做一些表演，至今为止已经发行了2张专辑”Little Black Dog” (2001) and “I’m Not a Bubble Gum Pop Princess” (2004)，后者不仅包括传统Cajun曲调，而且像是The Clash’s Should I Stay or Should I Go an和 The Ramones’ “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” (changed to “Girlfriend”)的中和版，06年Shaw 加入Rounder Records.
