剧情

　　杰克凯斯为三藩市一名资深警探，从21岁加入警界以来一直未能有所表现。雷吉汉蒙德为黑人区一名惯犯，从15岁起开始犯案累累。巧的是两人都想力图改变现况，而更巧的是两人竟然在同时间不期而遇，因此引发了一场争斗。

幕后制作

　　David Patrick Kelly 在影片The Warriors (1979)中也饰演了一名叫路德（“Luther”）的角色，导演依然是沃尔特希尔。在影片中有一场戏是由Denise Crosby用一根棒球棍（橡皮的）击打Eddie Murphy的胃部，Murphy十分担心Crosby真的击中他。Crosby只好用导演和尼克诺尔特作试验，向Murphy证明自己对棒球棍的控制是安全的。但在实拍过程中Crosby还是不慎击中了他。杰克的人选原定Mickey Rourke，但他拒绝出演。“fuck”一词在影片中丨共出现了四十八次，正好对应了片名. Gregory Hines雷吉的第一人选，但他由于与The Cotton Club (1984)的档期冲突而放弃了这个角色。不过，Eddie Murphy出色的发挥证明了他是雷吉的不二人选。James Remar为了表现坏蛋刚茨神经质的特制，在他表演前常常通宵不睡。当然他的牺牲也得到了回报。
